Terms of Service

CaldenCraft sells DIY wall and surface finishing kits — materials, tools and illustrated guides for you to install yourself. We are a retailer of consumer finishing products. We are not a contractor and do not provide on-site installation, structural, waterproofing or building-regulations services or guarantees.

• All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD) and exclude delivery unless stated.
• An order is accepted when we send confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is unavailable) and refund any payment taken.
• We take care to describe products accurately; colours and finishes on screen are indicative and vary with your materials and technique.

• Lime- and cement-based products are alkaline and can irritate or burn skin and eyes. Wear the gloves and goggles supplied.
• Sanding and cutting create dust, which may contain silica. Wear the dust mask supplied and keep the area ventilated.
• Adhesives and solvent-based products may be flammable; use with ventilation and away from ignition sources.
• Keep all kits and components away from children. Always carry out a small patch test before full application.
• Follow the printed SDS (safety data) card and guide included in every kit.

Kits are for non-structural surface finishing only. They must not be used on load-bearing elements, or for gas, electrical or pressure sealing, or any safety-critical function. Results depend on the substrate, its preparation, temperature, humidity and your technique. Coverage and appearance figures are estimates, not guarantees.

Memberships (Maker Club, Trade) are recurring subscriptions billed in USD that provide service discounts and access only — they hold no stored monetary value. Monthly sample allowances do not roll over. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and does not refund the current period unless required by law.

Because kits contain tools and chemical products, you must be 18 or over to buy. Anyone aged 13–17 may only use products with parental or guardian consent and supervision. The site is not intended for children under 13.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for misuse of products, failure to follow the safety guidance and SDS card, or for results that vary due to substrate or technique. Our total liability for a product is limited to the price paid for it.

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy and shipping by our Shipping & Deliverypage. Payment disputes are handled through our payment provider's standard chargeback and dispute process.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom, and disputes are subject to its courts.
